Ahead of the Governorship Election which is to be held in Bayelsa State on November 16, 2019, a video has surfaced showing a Bayelsa State House Of Assembly Lawmaker, Hon. Wilson Ayakpo Dauyegha in a physical fight with the Chairman of Bayelsa State Chapter Of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Jothan Amos.
Hon. Wilson Ayakpo Dauyegha is a known ally of the immediate past Minister of State for Agriculture, Heineken Lokpobiri, and we were informed that the fight began just after Hon. Wilson Ayakpo Dauyegha tore a document he was given to sign.
Our sources claim that the fight was because of the mode of party gubernatorial primary.
One of the major contestants for the party’s ticket for the November 16 governorship election, Heineken Lokpobiri is pushing for an indirect primary, while the party Chairman is strongly insisting on a Direct Primary.
Hon. Wilson Ayakpo Dauyegha was heard in the video saying “What kind of chairman are you? You are a stupid chairman. I’ll deal with you.”
